01 // THE PROBLEM
In most meme coins the developer controls everything: when to burn supply, when to pay for a DexScreener update, which KOLs get paid for callouts. Holders just watch and hope. $PEOPLE flips that.
02 // MILESTONE VOTING
The road map is a ladder of market cap milestones: $15K → $25K → MIGRATION → $50K → $100K → $250K. At every level there is exactly one open vote with 2–4 options for what the community treasury / dev actions should do next.
While the market cap climbs toward the next milestone, voting is open. The moment the milestone is hit, the vote locks. Whichever option holds the highest total vote weight at that moment wins — and it gets executed. No vetoes, no re-rolls.
03 // HOW YOUR VOTE IS COUNTED
Voting is free — no gas, no transaction. You connect your Phantom wallet and sign a plain message. The signature proves you own the wallet; your $PEOPLE balance at the vote snapshot is your vote weight. 1 token = 1 vote. One ballot per wallet per milestone — you can change your pick any time before the milestone locks.
04 // THE MIGRATION LEVEL
$PEOPLE launches on pump.fun. Migration is its own level on the map, with its own vote for what happens the moment we cross over.
05 // RECEIPTS
Every completed vote is logged on the HISTORY page: what won, by how much, and a link proving it was executed (burn tx, paid dex update, KOL post). If it's not in the log with a receipt, it didn't happen.
06 // FAQ
Does voting cost anything?
No. You sign a message, which is free and never leaves your wallet's custody. It is not a transaction.
Can the dev override a vote?
No. The whole premise is that the highest-voted option executes. Every execution is posted with proof on the History page.
Can I vote with 10 wallets?
You can, but it won't help — weight comes from tokens held, not wallet count. Splitting a bag across wallets gives the same total weight.
What stops someone voting then dumping?
Vote weight is snapshotted. Balances are re-checked when the milestone locks — sold tokens stop counting.
When do I get to vote next?
Immediately. As soon as one milestone locks, the next level's vote opens. Future options are listed on the VOTE page.
